Thanks! That is about what i had in mind. Im new to the serial gauge, but after reading how difficult it is to set up and then having actually set it up, i dont find it that hard to use.

I would have never known about the aem tuner crashing problem. Any reason to why this is?

Now to figure out how to get the Serial Guage reading ethanol content.

I haven't had a chance to test this yet, as I don't have a series 2 yet, but this should work:

Make sure to select Ethanol Content as one of your channels in Tools-->Configure Telemetry-->Serial Telemetry (If you replace the "throttle" channel with "ethanol content", then the gauge will work immediately as 0-100% on the existing throttle channel. Alternatively if you choose to replace a different channel, then you will need to hook up the gauge to your laptop, and flash it with the AEMGauge software, see the settings below)

Once you select Ethanol Content, do not press the show info button, AEM Tuner will crash if you do.

AEMGauge Settings:

Open the look up table for the channel you have selected for Ethanol Content, and press the Auto Fill button. Enter the following values and hit "Fill Table":

Cell 0 : Enter 0
Cell 255 : Enter 100

You can also choose your own color values here.

This is correct, it worked for me with one minor change. The start and end cells will be opposite of the throttle position. like so..

Cell 0: Enter 100
Cell 255: enter 0

Edit: jumped the gun on this... were about 2% content reading off..

OK folks, after some emails with AEM I was directed to this thread!

HERE IS THE CORRECT WAY TO SET UP E85 CONTENT ON THE SERIAL GAUGE!
