something went badly wrong with my vortech blower and I had to replace it

I have the snail, is it worth selling it maybe someone can fix it and use it or should I just launch it?

here is a photo to give you some idea - it is completely seized and you can see why the fins must be all vaporised inside it

 

the snail would prolly be damaged also do to the fins scrapping the metal

 

The inside would be scuffed up pretty good. What happened?

 

I dunno what happenned I bought it second hand I am suspecting it'd done more miles than the guy said and something went inside.
