I might be picking up this REALLY soon. Before possibly making a mistake I would like to know a few things. I would like to go turbo without dishing out an arm and a leg. Before I get flammed to hard, I know, turboing isn't cheep. I would like to hit 400-500 WHP. I would like to do it for around 6-8 grand. Here is what I will be getting for 1400.

Ultimate Racing Turbo Manifold
Ultimate Racing Intake Charge Pipe
T3/T4 60-1 Turbo
38mm Tial Wastegate
Dumptube
Custom 3" Downpipe

Okay so... (carry the 2/4 + or - .1) okay so I have around 4600 to 6600 left. I know I need an EMS, Fuel Pump, Injectors, Hose's and Clamps, Intercooler and piping, 3mm HG, Clutch, BOV, and a good tuner + tune. What am I missing and what would you recommend to go with it. Also I have not heard much about UR. Anyone have any experience with them? Thank you guys so much for helping me out.

 

You will get great customer service and support from Ultimate Racing. They make a good, reliable turbo kit. 500 whp will be pushing it though. I would also consider Inline Pro. I've never dealt with them before but I've heard nothing but good about them. I also think their turbo exhaust manifold is a much better product compared to UR's.

 

I'd look into a new headgasket for over 400whp.
