Looking very clean! Sorry if I missed it but what process did you use to clean your block, head, chain cover and ancils before paint?

My block and head have been ultrasonically cleaned before getting sleeved (still at the shop) but I'll be pleasantly surprised if the come up looking anywhere a clean as your.. Did you polish yours after cleaning?

Just spent a hour reading all your thread and love the work! I'm putting in similar efforts over in the UK.

Subscribed and watching on FB.. Keep it up man.

Hey thanks for looking! As far as cleaning the block..here is what I did

Tools: drill with 3 different size brushes
Dremel with a pointed brush
8 cans of Brakleen
scuff pads
Acetone

Spent about 8 hrs total brushing everything to as high shine as I could get. This included all of the acc. Parts... alt, starter ect. Followed that with several washes with brakleen and towels. Scuff pad then wash again.

My painter did a final scuff and clean before paint.

Hope that helps~
