Haha no. Various parts in the bay will be pink and black. Motor will be gloss black. Hope to have it painted by the end of this week

haha thanks man! been a lot of ups and downs with the car in the last couple weeks. I am dropping the motor off for paint tomorrow. Should be painted on Monday! I might as well wait to post pics of other stuff

Harness is done, motor cleaned up, velocity stack on, sandwich plate for oil adaptor worked out. Hopefully will have some pretty stuff to post next week!

 

Nice! Do you have enough clearance between the filter relocation and the downpipe with the Blox sandwich in place?

 

thanks man! I called just about every company that makes a sandwich plate to see if i could find one that is 1 1/4 thick. There were a few that i found that were an 1 1/8 including this blox adaptor which is the closest i could get. There is enough room for the adaptor and filter but not quite enough room for me to remove the filter for replacement. since i hardly put any miles on the car and only change the filter maybe 2 times a year, i am going to just replace the seals each time (theyre only 6$). Seems silly to go to all of this trouble for an adaptor, but i think it goes well with the tuck and shave theme.

no one seems to want to buy my old relocation kit so i may end up keeping it and figuring out a cooler setup later on down the road.

 

few quality pics my buddy (rustybolt) took of the motor being sprayed. Got it home safe! STILL waiting on my parts from the metal shop so I can get the powdered. Got a quote to do Cerakote on the mani/dp/turbo hotside... should be all DARKSIDE soon!
