Well it seems my luck has run out. Got her on the dyno last Friday. Came back with a motor making lots of noises. Last pull made 713@27psi then started to make a strange noise coming from the rear of the motor. I am still in the process of tearing it down so I still have no idea what the culprit is yet. However there were metal specs in the pan. Long road ahead. I will be back tho.

 

That sucks man, let us know what you find. Glad you're not throwing in the towel though. Looking forward to you getting her up and running again

 

Thanks man. Pretty disappointed but it is what it is. Just have to wait and see how bad the damage is

I kept telling him he needed to make a stronger brace for it.

 

Bahahahaha. It's weird. Rpm dependant. Idles perfect without the noise. It's at the back of the motor. My vote has always been either clutch or thrust washer. Although pressing the clutch doesn't change the sound.
