If money were no object I'd actually put about 10 times as mucn into chassis mods and lightweight body panels as I'd put in the engine and driveline. The "perfect" (for me) S2000 whould have the engine and driveline I have now, a wider track, stickier tires, a seam welded chassis, and all the bits to make it all work with relatively decent reliability. Shaving 800 lbs. off the car would be perfect.

With no FI budget I would just build a trouble-free turbo setup... if that's possible.
Yeah good luck on that one

NICE!!! What kind of numbers are you putting down?
It's a "stock" CTSC/SC so I'm only making 280-290 WHP, and I don't drag the car, so I don't have any impressive numbers. If that was what I was after I'd have gone with a turbo, and probably direct port nitrous.

I'm pretty sure my car is *capable* of turning high 12's, but not with me driving. I'm more into autocrossing, track days, and a little (very) amateur drifting. On the autocross courses I'm already traction limited in first and second (because you're almost never going in a straight line) so more power really wouldn't help me.

One of the cool things about the S2000 is that we have so many options available that everone can find a setup that suits them to a tee.
LOL, I guess I'm assuming that moeny isn't too much of a limiting factor.

If you have to go with the SC instead of the turbo, I would get the CT SC w/AC with a 7 lb pulley, Rick's header, Invidia test pipe, and CT exhaust. Add 4.77's gears in a '04 diff. My guess is it would put down 300.5 whp and 186 lbs of tq and 2600 feet elevation.

Oh wait, that's my set up.

Money being no object, Id upgrade my kit to fit a Novi 2000 running at least 15psi, Fully build the motor to about 9.5:1 comp. built head and hopefully be putting out around 500whp (I know in my my dreams).
