Default your input on SC + gears?

I have 4.77 gears at the moment and I know my car is going to end up boosted.

I could either rid of the gears and go turbo or keep them and go SC.

I'd like to go SC because it's my daily driver, but are 4.77s too much for it?

Will I even be able to build peak boost before I shift?

Thanks for your input,
Jason

Boost is dependent on how fast the crank is spinning. In otherwords, it doesn't matter what FD you have, your going to make X boost at a certain RPM during WOT

Yeah TJ rode in my car. I personally love it, and if you get a sc just install it and test it out and if it is too extreme for you deal with it then. But I think you will have a smile on your face the whole time.

Well put!

Thanks for all the input on the topic, I can't wait to get this project finished!

DJPeak10: Whats your ballpark gas mileage now-a-days? I do a lot of city driving here in Atlanta, but I drive about 80-90 miles a day on the highway. = /

^Yeah, seems to be. I wonder what kind of 1/4 mile times I should be looking at? I don't 'live my life a 1/4 mile at a time', but it's nice to know what you trap and all.

I should be in the mid/low 12s? Maybe I'm wrong?
