the civic's vs. S2K's video was fixed. all you have to do is look at the racing lines they were taking on the track, it looked like they were giving the civics way too much room to pass but to the civic's credit they are very fast...
these videos are just bullsh!ts. those S2000s arent pushing at all.also, if theres an Mugen RR, why not letting the Mugen S2K be its competitor? If theres modulo Civic, why not letting the Spoon S2K be its competitor? All bullsh!ts. Or strip the sh!t out of the MugenRR and race with the ASM S2K, i dont think the Stripped RR will be able to see the taillights of the ASM after the first lap in the same track.
Civics are just civics pls. Look at that modulo civic, its awful......

Credit goes to the new Civic platform. If they sold the Type-R here or even that body style of the SI it would be a great daily driver. S2K FTW still even though it technically lost in that particular battle.

Even if the video is legit, and the modified Civics are slightly faster (doubt it), they still drive like a FWD car.
I don't care if the Civic is 10 seconds faster than the S around that track, I still wouldn't want to drive a FWD sports coupe. It just isn't fun to me.

Also Spoon only had little time to dail in their CTR. and pitting against the j's s2k, which has days worth of tuning, is Ownage. Fact is, the CTR will be taking the checkered flags from now on. But i really wanna see our usdm CR go against the jdm rivals.

I think the second statement you made is more accurate. 3 Civics ahead and both S2k's behind. Definitely not a driver's race. Not with that gap.

Its far from a type R but a great daily driver.
