thanks for the comments guys I absolutely love the AP Racing bbk. I've had spoons, rotoras, & Project Mu's beforehand and none of them are quite as well-built as the AP kit is. The 2-piece rotors included with the AP kit are much beefier than stock and the stopping power is drastically greater than OEM.
Have you ever driven one with the Stoptech kit to give a direct comparison? Is the AP kit worth an extra $800-900?

no, unfortunately I have not driven/ridden with anyone with the stoptech kit on an S2000 before. I have, however, ridden along at Thunderhill with a good friend of mine in his Stoptech-equipped NSX. The brakes worked very well and had plenty of bite. Albeit, my friend is also an instructor for NASA so it may have just been the driving style/technique.
