Just an FYI for AP2 owners looking to replace their tops with a Robbin's. The window is about an inch smaller than the OEM top, you get used to the difference pretty quick. Fabric and stitching I think is top notch though.

you could of got an oem for that price range, also seemed a bit high on the quote. its a 7-8hr job by forum members, i would assume a shop would be able to finish much quicker..

you cannot buy an oem top for 640 dollars. I rather a shop not rush and screw it up, it would have been another headache. Forum memebers that do this top and only this top mulitple times. Just like the guys who pull there transmissions and change the clutch in "4 hours". My area isnt cheap...i called 2 other shops and got a quote for about the same price. One was higher and was a little lower but the shop quality was sh*&.

IF i bought the robbins top through the shop it was 1,907.xx dollars.

A robbins top with glass is 642 new. Oem with plastic window is 860 something plus shipping. And rear window conversion is over 1000 shipped.
