I laughed out loud at this... you got robbed... funny chit. It's also what I thought.

Maybe you could have started a thread, got some people from the site to come over and have an S2k top party. Spent five hundred on food, drink and tools if you didn't have the specific ones for the job. You woulda saved five hundred bucks, and had an incredible experience while building the community a personal relationships. It's an option.

Your standard glass top doesn't go in a 00-01. You need to modify the rear frame. If I had a 02+ I'm sure it would have been cheaper...I don't have the time for top party

I think people who have made the conversion buy the glass top with the skeleton and transfer over. Regardless the glass top looks great. I'm a MY00 and really want to get ride of the plastic top.

I wouldn't be happy. I'd feel foolish for being so poorly informed. ignorance is bliss, right?

Yea I think the total installed price is def. a bit high, but as long as your happy.
I found the glass window Robbin's top on eBay for $550 shipped (going on my '03), I am just gonna do it myself in a day. It'll be pain I'm sure, but rather know it was done right.

Looks good! But for the price you paid for the top and install, why not just get a hardtop?

That is the quandry that we find ourselves in... Lots of money and no time to spend it, or lots of time with not much money to spend.

Good question^^^^ Hardtop?
