Even though the supercharged s has more power up top the na will achieve his power sooner, meaning hill get the jump. now it also depends on drivers so there is a lot of variables
Advantage: SC S2000.
Unless we're talking about a retarded 10mph roll race....that's not racing.

probably because he has more under the curve. I still think the supercharged S would get him but you gott realize a stock comptech kit puts down like what 280whp? And thats at 9000 rpms. Hes probably making more HP than you in the 2.5 stroker till about 7500 RPMS

Given two perfect drivers, each will launch in their powerband. If each driver shifts perfectly, also, you are landing back a bit above 7000 RPMS.

my driving schools are topnotch when it comes to straight line racing so no worries there.
I could understand if you were makin less power in a lighter car and arguing how you would win. Same car, one has more power, which ones faster????

wow your smart, yea but the stroker is make 250 peak, and what the stock comptech kit is making 270 275? Is the 20 hp at peak going to make up for what its losing from 6-7.5?
i wont play the who is better game, but i will say that transient numbers are more important than peak numbers, typically.
also, dont forget that since his engine is stroked, the 9k redline has probably gone down to up 7000's or low 8000's
so potentially he is making 250whp at 7800 rpms
thats nothing to scoff at.
and lets not forget that these cars are tricky when it comes to drag racing. ive seen stock s2000s run high 13's and i've seen a lot of s2000s that cant hit below 14.3 to save thier life. some can drive these cars well, others cant. and if you have two side by side that are virtually identical, except that one car has a strong grippy clutch, the one with just a clutch will beat the one without. i would like to see these cars race just to see the outcome. which ever way it goes there will be a lot of back pedalling and excuse making.
also, why is everybody down on racing from a roll? you cant allways wait until the next light. and besides these cars are intended for roadracing more so than drag racing. when on the roadcourse do you ever see people stopping after a lap to wait for the next light LOL.
