The same thing happened with the Ford GT. And you know that car is way better than Ford GT. in terms of looks, technology, accelaration and handling. If people are willing to pay half a million for the Ford GT than than a hundred thousand for this car is not bad.

The GT should be quicker and faster in a straight line and probably around a large track. I think most would argue it's better looking. "Technology" is a pretty broad word, so I won't touch that one.
Suffice to say, the C6 Z06 is DEFINITELY not "way better" than the Ford GT.

That's just plain dumb... 
So I guess that's how "Supply and Demand" really works: Chevy can supply you with a brand new Corvette, but in return they demand that you pay an extra $25,000 for the damned thing....sheesh, I guess my Economics teacher had it all wrong!
