I will say this.... I'm happy that the MSRP price is where it is for this car. Honda is really going to have to think about the price they put on the next gen NSX, same goes for Nissan and the GTR. If either Japanese company tries to pull a $100k pricetag on either, a lot of people will skip out on them for American muscle. Hopefully, this drives their prices down, I want my got damn V10 when it's ready

relax people..
this is not going to stay like that for ever. Its only because the car just came out and its not just any other car. A smart dealer knows that there are more than enough dumbasses out there that wipe there asses with franklins that don't know what to do with there money. People who have to be rollin in the wheels that nobody has yet, so they can show off. This is for celebrities, NBA and NFL ballers and other richass real ballers from jakub's country.

But its all good, smart people will wait until next year to buy that car. and even smarter people will buy that car used in one year for half the price. After all its only a chevy..

You'll never guess...

yep its true. I work at the local chevy dealership and yes there are people buying them for that much. our dealership is only gettign 2 of them and the first one was gone before it even reached our dealer. They say they r going to be in limited production so im not suprised to see ppl buying it for that much. By about midyear next year there wont be a mark up. If ur patiant wait until then haha.

I talked to a guy last night at a car show with a yellow 2006 Z06 he said he flew to Ohio last week paid only 68K and drove it back.

I guess if you know the right people and where to go you can still get it for the right price.

They wouldn't take me seriously but I'd laugh in his face and walk right out the door. Same thing I did when someone tried to sell me a used Evo with a $4k markup, making it cost over MSRP. Wasn't ford charging a small mark up on Mustang GT's too just a while ago?

here's the thing, if someone offered you blue book for your car, and someone else says "hey ill pay what it's worth plus ill give an extra 10 grand." which would you take. if someone is willing to pay it i cant blame the dealers for charging it.

So what...the MB SLR list price is ruffly 420K EURO, and the first pieces went for well over 750K EURO...still feel like 25grand is a lil too much for the rich guys out there?
It's called "premium" in the world of car traders
