I admitted it may be my imagination. If I didn't know it was dbw I probably wouldn't notice it. One thing I do know is the S2K is still the best pure sportscar in it's price range. I drove a Solstice before buying the '06, hoping it would be close because I could have bought it at employee pricing becuase I work for a GM supplier. But it wasn't even as nice as the Miata with the folding hardtop that the same dealer had. Thus I purchased my 3rd S2k. In hindsight I should have kept the '04 as it is my pick of the 3 I have owned.
