Dood did they paint your splash guards in the wheel wells (or are they removed in the pix)?????? If they did you might wanna replace them, little stuff like that matters at car shows.

The color is beautiful, make sure the judges know this at the show though! They might look at it and not realize its custom (I had judges asking if I did an engine swap because there was a B16 in my old 99 Civic Si ). When the judge comes to your car, take the time to go over everything with him, don't asssume they know *anything*.

Dude, if you're going to be showing that car I sure hope that's dust and not white overspray all over the inside of your fenderwell and on the suspension.

I couldn't agree more. Alot of times some of the most expensive modifications go unnoticed. For example, a cleanly styled JDM-influenced vehicle will go largely unnoticed (unless they have a JDM class). Yet many of the parts on it will be worth alot more money than the crappy cheapo exhaust on the wide-bodied neon green civic that takes home the trophies.

I LOVE doing car shows, dont get me wrong. Its a great way to show off the car and meet folks while hanging out. The kind of folks that will appreciate your car will be the ones that pay attention to it stop by to talk. Have fun with it. Besides, who needs a trophy to tell them that they have a hot car? Me, I just need to look at it

Also too work yourself into some vendor's booth. I take alot more pride having a booth car (as it gets soooo much more attention, and somehow seems 'evevated' from the masses because its by istelf) even if it takes me out of the running for a cheap plastic trophy

Just my 0.02

the car looks nice...
if i was going to show that car, the most important mod would be to change your rotors (to drilled and slotted). looks to me like you still have the stock rotors, which dont show well (too much rust).
just my two cents-
and best of luck!!

Thanks for the advice.
I'm not bringing my car for prize. Im just wondering because this is my first time bringing my car to a car show.
I don't really care if i get a prize or not. Well if i win something YES Im gonna be happy.
But most time I'm happy with my car ...when I finish some stuff myself.
like painting calipers, install side markers, etc. it's not a big things but I did it my self.
After I look at it. I can tell there is some love for my car.
For me, i think my car looks good. it's like my baby. more than a car to me.
I'm just exciting to bring it the car show.(Sport Compact Nights)
