950 hp s2000
first of all intercooler pipes blowing off under high boost is very common, especially among supras/2jz's. secondly, probably the reason why he said "it CAN do 950whp" is because that dyno was on 30psi; depending on the turbo size (its probably nothing smaller than a 76mm) you can run as much as 60psi (HUGE turbo though, way bigger than this). the thing is, this turbo can probably run 35+ psi of boost, which would put it around 950whp. IMO, he was just saying "once the motor is in perfectly tuned/running condition AT MAX BOOST (higher than 30psi) it will make 950whp.
no need to flame the guy, he's basically just saying that it has more power left in it than that
edit: also, to those who say this is a dyno queen and a 500whp car will run faster (in a 1/4 mile) probably don't know much about drag racing. with the right suspension/tire/driver setup, the 950whp S2000 will be faster than the 500whp S2000.

I would think that anything more than 500hp in an S2K would be as out of control as a Mercedes 55AMG. Those things cant put the power to the pavement in any condition

that happened to my SRT-4 one night..... wondering why wasn't making boost. On the SRT-4 the pressure pipes hot and cold side are clamped with a stainless Hose clamps pretty cheap idea but I was running low on money for the AGP Hardpipe kit with my intercooler upgrade draining my budget so No wonder it happened but like it was said simple fix a matter of bolting the pipe back in place as for the front end that didn't happen to my old car but damn that was a pretty cool vid
I'm waiting for the first 2JZ spin out in the rain video.
I was laughing at a guy in an AMG who was trying to "race" me from stoplight to stoplight. Roads were a little dusty from construction and he couldn't pull because he kept spinning wheels and invoking traction control....
Spin.... jerk... spin... jerk... spin.... jerk.... slow for the red light.
Bwahaha. I'm starting to be more of an AWD fan unless your local roads are clean and dry all the time.
