Holy, now you have room for some luggage! Tim, what's the difference in sound compared to the RM intake? I loved the RM with the J's Racing exhaust. Get you butt back out on Saturday night, gotta hear the car now.

Just took a closer look at those two pics, the intake runs into the wheel well area?

Also, clicked the link and got this message:

"20 Meg Limit Exceeded!

This site has exceeded its limit of 20 MB of transfer per day. The account can be upgraded to a paid account to increase the transfer limit to 3 Gigs of transfer per month in your 150m.com user tools section. "

silversonic,

Thanks!

I can't detect gains, but I swear that I do feel the decrease in torque comming off of the "resonance spike" at 3,500 - 4,000 RPM's.

Here...the spike can be found on this dyno chart (R&D Motorsports)...

Hmm, that's not good. You need to try some runs against a stock S to see who pulls - non-launching.

Wesmaster,

I was thinking that I might not be able to tell the difference because I installed the AEM in place of the RM Racing intake.

The AEM ingests cooler air than the RM, but the RM is less restrictive because of the short intake tubing.

But you are right...I need to come out and run with a couple stock S2000's.

I wonder how well a V-AFC would straighten that curve out. How's the sound, Tim?

Sounds crazy...it's louder than the RM racing because now the intake sits right by the air vent I cut open. You can hear the intake growl over the exhaust at high RPM's.

Yeah...I'm waiting for someone to sell me a harness for the VAFC.
