Here are some fun pictures of the hood cutting process...

1. Prepare the patient for surgery.



2. Masking tape is your friend.



3. Drumel, surgical mask and goggles please.



4. Why cut a hole in a perfectly good hood? I guess the same reason why I would jump out of a perfectly good plane!



5. And viola! I still can't believe I cut a hole in my S2000!

even if you got ASM plate version 2, you would have a simliar size gap. there is no ASM plate that is cut to fit J's intake perfectly.

i had the v2 plate as well. i traced the pattern and bought a cusco plate and cut that.



i think if you get the regular asm plate that is not cut at all, and get the proper pattern in it with no gap, that would look hotter.
