Is the passenger side airbag still functional after being covered in alcantara? (e.g., are there slits cut into the alcantara or something?)

Looks great, BTW.
The Alcantara is scored along the OEM break points and only glued down just slightly along the edges. The force that breaks open the airbag cover is more than enough to blow away the Alcantara skin. For liability reasons, when this goes on sale, the airbag cover part will be a DIY with some wording to the effect of "race use only" or something like that. I don't see it being a problem with effectiveness at all though.

I'm finishing up the install of the interior probably this week, if not then next. The pictures don't accurately portray the color of the Alcantara. The actual color is a dark rich black but it comes out as gray in the pictures.

Great job! I know this takes a lot of your time. Will you be offering your services?

Thanks! Joe does great work. I'm waiting on a few pieces and then the rest of the interior can go in. Will be finished in about 2 weeks time.
