Because CF is not for looks, its for weight savings. It looks really ugly unpainted. Finally someone with good taste on this board and paints over the CF so they dont have mis matching body panels.

I would leave the top OR the hood unpainted, because the car is going to be white and it would look nice. It works with yellow too, but I am happy at least someone has money and brain on this forum. We don't get to see this combination every day!

I think carbon of that high quality should be unpainted, so that you can admire the craftsmenship. That is just my opinion.

Plus paint adds weight, lowers the value of the carbon part, costs $ that could be used for mods, and is common on every street car.
