The NSX type R, JDM EVO MR, and M3 CSL also sport unpainted carbon. Because carbon that quality should be seen.
The quality of Carbon should be showns.
Lot of people have cf hoods for looks more than for weight saving.
Unless you have a JDM cf hood, you are not saving all that much.
And the weight saved from a hood will not make much of a difference unless you are at the track or your car is for full race.
IMO...

Accually Amuse painted over their $50k Dry Carbon wide body. Paint doesnt hurt performance it only makes the car look more like a real car then something that somone just slapped a whole bunch of mis matched body panels on. I can see keeping the top CF, but the trunk and hood are begging for paint.

It will have custom upholstered Recaro SPGs in black Alcantara w/red stitching. Black carpeting. ASM Alcantara center cover black/red stitching. ASM leather e-brake handle with red stitching. Mugen steering wheel. Custom uhpolstered door panel inserts to match alcantara on Recaros and center cover. Customized Mugen street rollcage with side protection. They're working on the cage right now. BTW, the hardtop will remain in CF, just clearcoated. Everything else will be painted. Although I think my custom corner mounted craftsquare mirrors came out pretty cool!
I hate seeing the car like that! It makes it look like a wreck. I'm very anal so it drives me crazy!!
