Yep, my steering boss came with that device, but wouldn't know where to get that separately and how to do it for the passenger side...
I did this with my '98 R. If you look in the steering collum, the steering wheel airbag wire is connected with a yellow connector. Go to honda and buy a SRS service connector

( they put that connector on the unplugged connector at the steering collum when the steering wheel is removed for maintenance.. )

The srs service connector has a looped wire on it. cut it and put a 2ohm resistor between the cutted wire. replace the modified srs connector back onto the yellow airbag connector at the steering collum and you fool the ecu, thinking you have the oem airbag wheel

But, this was the procedure on my ITR, dunno if it works the same way on the S! perhaps you need an different resistor...

here a pic of my modified connector:

I still have the connector ( sold my R with oem steering wheel )

Sorry for my crappy english but i hope this will help you out.

Wow, I am Speechless too! Attention to details are extraordinary. Loving everything you have done so far. Hood reminds me of NSX-Type R.

Any updates?

The Amuse top is IMO the best top. I like the mooncraft, but it's too crazy for everyday. The Mugen is ok, but I don't care for the style too much. And OEM is ok from every angle but the BACK, I think it looks horrible; like a miata hardtop.

But the Amuse!!!! Too bad, I'll never get one.

Oh yeah...updates!
