Whats up with the Axle Exhaust?
Hey!

The exhaust will not bolt up to the stock cat and it needs different hangers. It bangs against the lower arm bar and half shafts...a lot...I'll figure something out though! On a positive note...its amazing how a test pipe removes droning!! The stock cat plus Amuse exhaust drones a lot....now its gone!! It sounds great!

Thanks!

I can see why people like the CEs...I find though that the CEs photograph better, but the RSs look better in the flesh... Plus because of their design they actually look like they're lower offset than the CEs. I changed them because I was looking for a 17x9 +45 to run less negative camber. I'm trying to change the direction of the car to a more comfortable daily driver and to run the 17x9.5 +47 CEs or other Volk 17x9 +40s I have to run a lot of negative camber. I could run ASM front fenders and hack the rears more, but dunno...still on the fence.

On another note, man the hardtop is noisy! I don't know how the Mugen is but because this one is just a thin 1 layer sheet of carbon, its actually noiser than the soft top!!! I also have a lot of creaks and squeaks from the hardtop. I've checked the install a few times; checked all the seals, strikers, etc. Used some Shin Etsu grease and still...

Thanks for the comments!

try some shinetsu grease on the rubber seals and retightening the catchers/strikers. all the HT's are like that.

on the wheels, I see your point but your CE's were gourgeous though.

Thanks Alejo!

Yes, I tried the Shin Etsu...but perhaps I could use more. I'm not giving up that easily!! I'll try the striker thing. If I have to stuff a towel between the hardtop and the car, I'll do it!!!

On the CEs...I still have them, so I might have to go back to them!

I can't imagine the HT ever being quiet though, not unless you weld it down
