Do you know if its possible to make the insides of the tips shine? Other people's Tanabe Medalion Touring I see are shiny steel but mine is pure black. I tried cleaning it before but it gets kind of brownish with several weird dirty spots.

Out of the box NO. But there is a way to do it.

No, because the inside of the tips are coated black. I just polished it a bit to get rid of the exhaust dust etc because I prefer the inside black.

Yes, because you can actually get some sand paper, sand it off so are down to bare metal. Then you go like 800-1000-2000 grit so you get rid of the scratches then you polish it with the metal polish and steel wool to get the mirror finish.

That said, I actually wanted to see your car and your headlight setup when the SD S2ki group came to Sears Wednesday meet but you guys left too quickly lol. Hope to see it in person sometimes. What projectors are you using for the full beams?

If you're in SD we can meet up somewhere or at a meet, I don't go to meets anymore but if I have a reason to then I'll go =D. All 4 projectors are on when my low beams are on. The aftermarket ones have Bi-Xenon feature so I have high beams too =)

I am in SD and had seen your setup here, I was waiting to see you in the meet but missed it. I should be in the future SD meets, so ill let you know. Car is still not 100% done.

I was thinking about doing the same thing to the projector retrofit in my Accord, using both projectors for low beam and have the high beams via bi-xenons. I am using Morimoto MH1s for my Accord. What have you used?

Thanks bro, it really is a lot of fun and not even that much elbow grease needed. The best part is when you show the result to someone that had seen the condition of it before the refinishing process. And they think you got a new exhaust haha
