wantone, how about getting some STI U.S. version for us??? if there's any?

 

The EVO 8 isn't going to be anywhere near the performance monster that the USDM STi will be. It's based off of the GTA model of the JDM EVO 7, not the beefy GSR model. I'd be interested to find out whether or not Subaru is going to be bringing over the Prodrive version of the STi for the US market. It seems unlikely, but that would be an amazing car to own.

 

What makes you think the STi will be so special? Subaru announced it formally only a couple weeks ago, and won't start leaking info/specs for 4-6 months.

They have the same limitations the Mitsubishi does, and will likely deliver a similar vehicle. And no, the U.S. won't get a ProDrive version for the same reason the U.S. won't get a RalliArt version of the Evo8.

the new WRX looks too much like "toy"...maybe it's just me?...but i will agree that looks are improved...now, if only that wing were about 4 inches lower...

 

Mmm, Sti goodness <drool>. S2000 and an Sti in the same garage, now that would be interesting. The look is MUCH improved on this front fascia.
