I was in a similar accident.

Now I always go about 10-15 below the speed limit and keep my eyes open for any puddles.

Definitely fixable. I've seen worse and they didn't have frame damage, so you should be ok on that.

At least you're ok

Thanks for the comments guys.

My tires were definitely not bald...front's had a lot of tread left, but more importantly the rears also had some tread left; although definitely not as much as the front, but they weren't down to the wear bars yet. I know that just b/c they weren't down to the wear bars doesn't mean that they're "ok", and I knew that it was time for new rears. I was actually planning on ordering them in the next couple weeks.

Man, people are such assholes these days. I remember several years ago coming back home from a ski trip and we got caught in a nasty snow-storm. Everyone was taking it easy except SUV drivers. I told my friend I bet we see one of these idiots in a ditch. Sure as day, we saw not one, but several SUVs in accidents due to them exceeding the speed of the conditions. Yeah you may be able to go with no problem, but stopping is quite another matter.

they wont replace the rear quater, thats too much work to drill the spot welds out and then re weld another pannel in. Most likely they will pull it out, hammer the backside out, and use some bondo to make it flush again. Youl never be able to tell it was messed up.
When I had my accident, they welded in a new rear quarter. My damage was comparable to his.
