Hey Andy, not sure about you, but my stock S handled much better than my Prelude in the rain. The Lude felt very swirly above 50mph when wet.

my friend had a similiar accident, he broke the rack and pinion too, 10 grand for everything.

My cousin wrecked his s2000, and it took forever for the shop to get OEM quaters in. Their not a high demand part, so chances are the shop is going to just fix his. But then again, it all depends on where Andy takes it.

Thanks for the support everyone It's nice to hear when I'm beating myself up over this.

Jackson, my Prelude is quite the opposite. It's a beast in the rain/snow (not that I drive aggressively in this weather)..I've driven it through blizzards and it's always felt stable to me. That's interesting to hear though...RWD felt better than FWD for you?

Frank, if I take it to the shop you use, would they fix the panel or replace it?

Find yourself a good body shop to make it like new...This is why we all pay insurance. Glad you're OK
