I dont think its gonna be louder than the Amuse R1000, because the R1000 is 70mm diameter! (2.5inch is 60mm right?)

But this is lighter than the R1000 because its 60mm!

Question:

The R1000 is header back?
Their site says, its before cat. What is before cat?

here is the link from bulletproof http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/catal...ail.php?ID=1963

Before cat means that the exhaust flange bolts to the back of the header. Basicaly the r1000 exhaust has a built in test pipe.

He said that it is the Revolte and that he saw it in one of the S2000 HyperRev mags and ordered it directly from Japan. The only Revolte exhaust made is in 2 pieces, has a resonator and 3" piping though so I have no idea what's going on. I have searched and searched and this exhaust doesn't seem to exist anywhere. I would really like to know what it is as well.

Sorry I didn't see this post before I responded to your last. This exhaust is nothing like the Revolte, at least not the one they advertise and sell. I will be getting rid of this thing very soon I believe. The drive to work today was painful. I must be getting too old to have an exhaust this loud It sounds great and if it were only a track or weekend car I would love it but pulling into work today and getting stares from everyone, let alone setting off every car alarm with a 1/2 mile radius, is making me reconsider.

If there is an exhaust out there that is louder than this one I would be very very surprised. Although this is the first single I have heard in person, I don't think my judgement is skewed. Until now the Invidia was the loudest exhaust I had heard but it would sound like an OEM compared to this thing. It's kinda disconcerning becuase I really want a single exhaust for weight savings and more gains. Is there anything out there in a single that isn't super obnoxious? I wish it at least came with a silencer or something but it's not even drilled for one. I'd really like to meet up with some locals and get their opinions and see if maybe I'm just overreacting about the noise level.
