just to make this thread complete in case someone searches for backpacks...
i bought:
TAMRAC CASE 5256
it was about $120... the others were closer to $200 and looked like the same features.
this is a great backpack for those wanting a pack that can hold just about any camera equip you can throw at it as well as your laptop!
