Id pick the ap2 over that ap1 too if I had that ugly blue interior in there let alone those wheels. Ive driven both ap1/ap2 and there pretty much the same. But f20>f22. =)

It is pretty ridiculous how much better the ap2. I had a 01 a few years back, but now I have a 06 and it's almost night and day.

who cares about reving to 9k??? 9k is what made the s2k the s2k, honda made a mistake when they lowered the redline imo. more hp and torque? oh yea! 10lb more torque is gonna blow my shirt off! if you are looking for something that makes more power and torque early you got the wrong car buddy! 9k>8k

yeah then they realized why not increase the discplacement and actually make the car driveable with having it scream at 9k...its not the only increase in power in torque, its how much sooner it is in the power band and making the power band more useful..

i can care less if it could rev to the moon and back..i rather make the power sooner..

Whoever says the ap1 is not drivable around the city because of the torque is just being lazy they both run equal 1/4mile times so increase in power and torque? I dont think so. Both ap1 and ap2 dont make good power in the power band early so I dont know what you are talking about. Its all just my opinion though I just thought they should have kept the f20c

i agree both still lack huge midrange still i feel like they upgrade the 2.2l for a reason..snyways whatever, i've driven both and i when i was looking for an s2k i pondered on the choice between ap1 and ap2 and ended up with the ap2 for various reasons..
