I don't always agree with the direction some folk go in with their S2s. It's not a "right vs wrong" but more of what different goals we aspire to achieve or how we try to arrive at them. That said, I don't feel the need to elicit criticism because "I" don't like what someone else does. You should do whatever you want with your car....period. It's yours to customize however you chose. On the flip side, there is a GREAT deal of knowledge here-in this forum. If you are trying to achieve either performance or aesthetic goals, I suggest you solicit these guys FIRST, and then go with what you finally decide. If you're going to acquire parts and subsequently tell these guys where you're going with them, you might (understandably) get a more "edgy" response, which might elicit comments from those that need to feed off of someone else's kill.
Stay with your dream but be savvy. Ask more questions from these guys/gals. You might find it easier, cheaper and more expeditious to get where you want to eventually end up. Hey....you might even make a friend along the way!
