looks like he hit vtec on step 1 and 2, but overreved and grinded his gears on the last step he took.

Still an awesome robot though, Im sure they got it fixed and practically running up the damn stairs by now

I waited to see if Asimo got back up and said "I meant to do that" but I guess that didn't happen...

 

It's true, he did seem a little cocky with his head turned walking up. Needed to keep his eye on the prize.

On a side note, those fold outs are used in Japan too as a means to block out the looky loo's during traffic accidents and stuff. I think that'd be a big help here in So Cal when people slow down just to watch someone change their tire on the side during rush hour.
