Angry ASM dethroned!

http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/toc/thismonth/

Haven't read Sport Compact Car in awhile, but found something worthwhile. Beautiful ASM car (owned by Kanayama-san) on the cover. Titled "David Stuns Goliath" and you see a beater 240SX (not good). Lots of great pics of the ASM car, but the beater from Boston owns it.

that his hardly Japan's quickest NA machine not even ASM's quickest NA machine, that is their street tuned car.

I have kind of given up on car magazines in general in the US, haha, so much useless info compared to most others.

Yeah, I read that article, too. It's a pretty pointless comparison\ test of the two cars considering they are completely different beasts. Street tires vs. race tires, NA vs. turbocharged, etc... SCC even admits at the end of the article that it's apples and oranges so it begs the question, why bother with the article? Just do a write up on the beater and skip the comparison.

At the end of the day, Id still rather drive home in the ASM S2000 and have lost than in the 240 and have won.

from the look of the front cover the 240sx looks to be heavily modify... Plus being a 89-93 hatchback model, stock weight is 2500 pounds (give or take). So gutting it and doing other weight reduction this should weight less then the S20000 by a crap load...

If i had still had my 240sx, i'd would have gone with the 240 lol, but with driving the S2000 I get more fun out of driving it. And not worry about the problems I had with my turbo engine hehe
