Yeah, I read that article, too. It's a pretty pointless comparison\ test of the two cars considering they are completely different beasts. Street tires vs. race tires, NA vs. turbocharged, etc... SCC even admits at the end of the article that it's apples and oranges so it begs the question, why bother with the article? Just do a write up on the beater and skip the comparison.
When you take a 'race-prepped' car and set it against a 'street-tuned' car, what did they expect would happen?

As with anything else with SCC nowadays, they just needed a good cover story. So in the end, they pitted two completely different types of cars against each other and got their cover story...and made themselves look like complete idiots, losing even more of their credibility in the process.

Race-pepped please!!! I read the article, the car was built buy a guy in a garage and he custom fabbed most of his parts... I'm sure the asm s2k has wayyyy more money invested into it. lets not delusional about what happed.

So you can't build a race car in a garage? My buddies dad built his whole road racing car in his garage by him self. I am sure the ASM car has more money into cause of sponsors but then again its 2 way different cars.

What do you find hard to believe? They are running 17x9 +50 all around with the GC07s with the same size tires even with their wider fenders?!

Next Months issues will be Super Autobacs NSX dethroned by Formula 1 car.. but its a good comparison right. What a pointless article for them to do, they could have pitted the 240 against a ton of shop built road N/A cars and beat them.

the widebody is their fastest car, with the individual throttles.
