I guess all of the CF is Dry and only the intake is clearcoated from the factory and the bumper and air splitter is not.

Is that what you mean? or do I really need to search and investigate?

The terms wet and dry refer to the process used to set the weave not the presence or absence of clear coat. This is an extremely common misconception.

Yup, and the resulting differences in strength are also very different both in its uniformity and the ending tensile strength. Of course, since Dry Carbon requires a giant autoclave, it will always cost more to make.

I am such a nice guy, that I did it only for a really good friend who desperately wanted my black red OEM seats and I took his OEM red seats.

I am missing those bi-colored seats like crazy.

That bumper reminds me somewhat of the bumper of this car.

tan,
your front ASM bumper & ASM splitter is dry carbon (prepreg)
the ASM intake should also be dry carbon.

i doubt ASM use any other process.

Now I can justify my spending spree.

Thanks for all the enlightment guys about dry and wet carbon fiber.

Now if you want to talk about MPLS Networks or IPVPN or Ethernet Internet Services then maybe I might be one up on you guys.
