i think it has potential.... everyone thought the new 7 series was the ugliest BMW they have ever seen... but i remember someone on this website posted pictures of the new 7 series modified by Hammann, and everyone was raving about how nice the car looked. Give it some time... it might grow on you.

If you truly like this car, then fine BUT, those who actually LIKE this, are you sure you're not just impressed by the fact that it's a new BMW? Take all the BMW emblems off that thing and replace them with "Chrysler" or "Buick" and what would you think?
I appraise the "look" and visual impact FIRST. The brand name comes much later. eg. I like the Z8, NOT because it's a BMW but because it's just pleasing to my eye. The Z3? Z4? You've just GOT to be kidding! If these were badged "Hyundai", they'd flop bigger than a belly bucker jumping into a shallow kiddy pool and noone would really care how well they performed.
I like the S2000 the instant I saw it and wondered who made it. I found out that it's a Honda after I decided I liked it.

What a shame...I don't like the lines on the new 7 and 5 series at all. I really like the prior generation. The 7 series they used in the Bond Movie, The World is not Enough, was all class, IMO.
