Leave the flame jobs to the hot rods. I've seen many stunning '49-'50 Merc's and 30's to '50s Fords, Chevys and others of this era which remain appropiate to this day.
IMO, inappropiate for any roadster of any era.

 

lol i agree with 99% of the posters here that are bagging these cars, Autosalon here in australia seems to revolve how much chrome and airbrushed flames u can get on your car.
props for the effort but dont do it to cars that are supposed to be track cars, S2k/rx7/skylines etc.
i dunno when it became cool to put a set of 20" chrome wheels on these cars but i wish i could roll back the clock

That's just wrong thing to do to S2K, I own one and I would never go to this type of styling, it's waste of car and $$$$, looks like syd is a lot more "rice" than Perth, here I didn't see any S2Ks modded in that way, there aren't that many anyway but i saw few nicely modded.
