BBS wheels are very popular in Japan, even though they are more expensive than Volks over there. Because of their popularity, racing tradition and high quality image, several JDM cars come standard with BBS wheels (6 spoke wheels on the S2000, WRX Sti etc.). BBS manufactures wheels in Japan for their market, mine say "Made in Japan" on them so they are "JDM"

Both wheels look nice and are well made, you can't go wrong with either brand.

 

I love the BBS LMs... too bad they are like 25 lbs. + for 18's.

Yeah, the Japanese love their European accessories. Just look at how many cars come from the factory over there with:

Recaro seats
Brembo brakes
Momo steering wheels
BBS road wheels

The Volk CE28N are my favourite rims for the S2000, so I'll go with Volks.. although I think BBS is nice too, very distinctive, you wont get them confused with anything else..
