I like both rims. I chose Volks over the BBS because I had BBS's on both my GTI and A4, and was ready for something else. I also feel that when I do get rid of the S, I think I will be able to sell the Volks more easily than I would the BBS. When I saw the post from Wantone last year, I thought the BBS's looked so beautiful. I don' think you can go wrong with either wheel.

Both make excellent wheels. You really cant go wrong with either except fitment. From what i have seen, the BBS limits you on tire sizes for the rear or else you may have rubbing issues when lowered.

Personally, I m a Volk whore. These are my second of 4 sets bought this year 16 x 7 = 11 pounds
16 x 8 = 11.5 pounds

BTW, call Evolution (board sponsor) for best prices on Volks

Believe me, it is in the rims. Unsprung weight is absolutely critical when developing a race car. If you dont believe, take off your heavy (compared to volk) wheels and put on your stocks, I ll bet you will notice a noticeable difference in performance.

Whats with this whole class thing? Sounds like you bought the wrong car for that

I was set on getting the BBS LM's when I heard that the Volk GTU's were about to be released. When the initial pics were shown by Evolution, the GTU looked amazing. But when I finally saw them on a couple of S2000's the GTU's looked kinda "small" for an 18" wheel. Don't get me wrong, they look nice but not as nice as the BBS LM's. I decided to stick with the LM's...
