Default Berk Technology T-Shirt Design Contest

We figured this would be the best forum to place this in, additional to our post in the sponsors forum.

To give back to the S2Ki.com community for the Holiday Season, Berk Technology is holding a design contest. We are looking for something unique to include onto our new t-shirts for 2009. The rules are as follows:

1) Do not worry about logo placement, we will handle that on our own.

2) Entries should be posted in .jpg format on the forums, but please make sure that you have a .psd or .ai/.eps format for your final design.

3) Be creative and unique! We are looking for a t-shirt design geared towards S2000 enthusiasts.

4) The winner will be decided by a vote within the S2Ki.com forum and from our website, www.berktechnology.com

The winner will be selected on December 15th, 2008 so get started right away! A free brand new Berk Technology test pipe will be given away to the winner.

Thanks and good luck!

so the final art can be raster based image or does it need to be a vector image.

I am on this like white on rice......

give me a target size and resolution if it can be a raster image

single color, 4 color??

12 X 12 inches 300 dpi.....something like that???

front or back placement???

Can we do odd placements or carry over to sides and back of shirt?

too many questions I know but I have been itching to do an S2k shirt.

I wont require a test pipe if mine is chosen but I would like a couple of the shirts

We prefer vector image and 4 color can be fine. We want this to be a high quality shirt that really stands apart from the competition. Think lifestyle with motorsports blended in!

We want to not constrain the design, but something that will fit the span of the back of the shirt will be great. The front chest corner of the shirts will be reserved for the Berk Technology logo.

Odd placement works so long as it looks great and creative.

Winner will definitely receive shirts - if you don't want the test pipe we can do store credit! GOOD LUCK!

being able to design it totally in photoshop and have it as a raster image will leave it more open creatively for me and allow for more designs in less time.

If it needs to be in vector I am afraid I will not have the time to devote the proper time to dong that. Vector takes forever.... especially if it is to be complex and visually engaging

You can do it in Photoshop, we will have someone convert it over. Thanks and good luck!

Possible we can work something out with credit if you are the winning design. Let's see the submissions - we are flexible in giving back to the community and hope you guys have fun with it along the way.

It's not that easy to just convert to Vector and have it look right. I would suggest just paying someone from the forums to do it right.
