That's strange, it shouldn't leave any residue for only 2 days even if it was left out in the sun. I've had mine on for over a week in the high heat/humidity and there was nothing at all left under the tape. It's also been on during rain storms with no ill effects.

why don't you guys just use serran wrap?
it's quicker to apply & lighter

I can imagine how Seran wrap will do in 100+ degree heat while left out in an open parking lot for several hours. You'll need a body shop to remove the residue!
