BMW just released these pics and info on its Vision Efficientdynamics Concept Sports Car, a diesel hybrid car with 3-cylinder diesel engine and 2 electric motors. It's way wild looking but I love the overall feel and look.

Supposed to have M3 like performance and Prius like gas efficiency.
Debuting at Frankfurt Auto show next month.

This is why I will always love BMW. Electric doesn't mean that you have to cut the balls off a car like Honda feels.

Hopefully a more toned down production version will actually be made sometime down the line. Aside from its looks, I love the technologies in this car.
