Another modifications to my car include gold painted callipers with Nissin logo and a modified OEM intake with the resonator cut away. I'm going to put some heatproof aluminum foil on it at the bottom, so that the air does not heat up form the engine. Next I will put the snorkel and a K&N drop in replacement air filter. I will also add a cooling plate to finish it off - that should work quite good I guess.
I was thinking about doing it for the sound and some better breathing and all my doubts went away when I saw a Spoon S2K - they did just the same mods - it makes sense than I guess .
It's not finished yet - needs smoothing-out here and there
Some will call it rice but I hate when something look rusty or unfinished - gold FTW

Great work & great ideas
for originality
I'm not too found of blue, but that color looks great in the sun
I love how you are doing the calipers gold and adding the oem logo to them, and the blue bolts are a nice touch. Did you get the bolts blue, or did you paint them?
for a great project

Here's some pics of the OEM air filter box after cutting the resonator and adding the thermo-resistant tape. Hope it works...
All I need to do now is add a snorkel, fit the K&N drop-in element and install a cooling plate. It will take some time as I have to order most parts from the USA though. I am also considering adding another cold air duct from the left hand side of the car as there is a hole in the OEM box that I have to do something about... what u guys think?
