Nice shots Sal! Were you coming out to Button on the 13th?
I doubt it as the blue group is completely sold out. I think I'm a little too fast for the white group and too slow for the red group.

Did you ever get a chance to swap out your coilovers?

I think they only had a few days to prepare the car. Otherwise I'm sure they would have gone faster.

Kel's car has gotten into the 2 minute flat range with Tim (StinkyTofu) behind the wheel. Maybe there was something else holding their times back like a new tire setup or something.

Err.. the blue car(that Rob drove) was put together the day before at 3 pm on crappy shocks and old Neovas from Super Lap Battle. We even borrowed a wing from a friend. Even the alignment is a mystery on the car. I didn't even have tires until Friday morning.

My car didn't do better because well, it was driven by me. However, I swapped cars with Rob for the last practice session and he easily hit a solid 2:00 lap when he got a clear lap(slight tweaks in setup have made the car much faster). Despite not putting Evasive at the top, I had my own goals which were met with good success. I hope to be fast enough to drive my own car at Super Lap Battle this year.

Also, with the exception of the shop EVO, none of these cars are on the shop budget; Justin's car is his own project and as many of you know, I've spent a countless number of hours developing my own car with various one-off custom parts. We're really just a bunch of track junkies that have come together under the banner of a stand-up shop.

Yeah, if I can get the day off on Friday, we'll most likely be there.
Saturday and Sunday will be a waist for us though. That is, unless I get a wing by then.

Kel: Congrats on the success! I'm in the same boat where I need to improve by driving too. Hopefully I'll be posting those kind of times by next year.

Wait, they're holding a track events on the same track used by the Champ cars?

If so, where can I sign up?
