Calling on canard lovers
During a search for some APR info for my wing, I came upon more canard cars. Very
nice MR2-S here. I miss mine. It was a hoot to drive but not much for performance parts at the time and any turbo kits in development were blowing engines left and
right. Today, the kits have finally become reliable. I wouldn't want nitrous on it
though....if it came on during a turn (RPM activated) the results wouldn't be
pretty. You think the S2000 is twitchy? bwahahahaha
Not a discussion so much as to the usefulness of canards (I obviously know they
work) rather some nice pics of what I think is a damn nice looking car (though I suppose for some it might be too much). In an earlier thread of mine for the newbie wheels, a few questioned the angle of my canards and I thought this was proof positive that for maximum downforce for cars that don't reach speeds of 165mph, you don't want them installed too horizontally. You have to angle them appropriate for the speeds you're traveling.

I'm a former newspaper editor so I know a bit about copyright issues. This is not
a copyright issue. The photos are culled from APR's web site linking their products.
When used in this manner (as information/entertainment), it is not a copyright infringement.
For an accurate read on the issue, I point you to:
http://www.fplc.edu/tfield/copynet.htm and quote:
"Fair use.
Fair use is one of the most important, and least clear cut, limits to copyright. It permits some use of others' works even without approval. But when? Words like "fair" or "reasonable" cannot be precisely defined, but here are a few benchmarks.
Uses that advance public interests such as criticism, education or scholarship are favored -- particularly if little of another's work is copied. Uses that generate income or interfere with a copyright owner's income are not. Fairness also means crediting original artists or authors. "
Since the linked photographs contain their origin and are not implied to be a creation of the
author (me), the Fair Use applies here. This is why APR keeps the magazine
name in the photo.
Having said that however, feel free to exercise your right to delete the thread
but bear in mind, this is for entertainment usage, not for profit. The side of
right is clearly established here.

Thanks for just removing them....
Russ those pic's are from a Magazine. You can see that those are scanned.
I asked you nicely you didn't listen, so now I'm telling you to remove them.
BTW you being an editor has nothing to with this site and its rules about copy-written stuff.
