France is okay I guess only was there last August, still not a big fan though, take the small camera France consists of small streets.

 

just back from paris and now i have the answer!
i took the 3 megapixel, and shot over 400 frames... edited down to about 200.
having been there, i can now agree with those who said to take the nikon!
yup, i blew it... got some really great photos, but they arent the quality that they would have been with my 6 megapixel.
the smaller camera was nice cause i carried it in my coat pocket- wouldnt be able to do that with the nikon!
but paris is very safe right now- and surprisingly (from what i had been told) very friendly too.
great trip... now i have to learn about fav websites for posting photos- so i will create a thread with that question too-
