CF "wrapping" is pretty common although the downside is the extra weight. The upside is OEM fit and finish.

I had CF "wrapped" a trunk lid before because I was tired of the fitment issues from the aftermarket sources.

Looks good for a show piece.

as goes your opinion on your own car. imo on a show car (if that is what he is building) i think this well definitly get some solid points. as long as you clean up the resin issues
