Post chilicoke: side diffusers

i was pm'ing chilicoke about four months ago to see if/when he'd put those infamous side diffusers he custom made for his s2000 up for sale and i was just so happening to be just inquisitively dropping by his site and there they were, ready for distribution. i immediately pm'd him and setup a paypal transaction. he shipped them out on monday and i received them on friday (california to florida).

so, here it was, straight out of the box, no damage of course, beautiful...

here is the mounting hardware, self-tapping screws and fender washers, also included was incredibly detailed instructions with pictures (even the novice could install these)...

now to the install, basically all i had to do was jack up the front, put a jackstand there, lower it down, and then use the jack to hold up the rear. hold up the side diffuser, use a paintpen to mark the holes for drilling (7/64" drill bit), drill it out, temp install all the screws, and then tighten them down.

Those look sharp. Really digging the semi-gloss finish. Are they fiberglass?

they are black gel coat (fiberglass reinforcement) with a matte black paint job. clearance is decently tight, so i don't think the side strakes will fit.
